12 ounces lasagna noodles
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon basil 1 tablespoon parsley, minced 12
ounces tomato paste
1 1/2 cups hot water
2 eggs, beaten
1 pint cottage cheese or 1/2 lb ricotta cheese 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/4
cup parmesan cheese, grated
First of all, prepare the lasagna noodles in boiling and salted water for approximately 1⁄4 hour or till become soft.
Cook the garlic and onion in salad oil in sauté pan till tender. Then add in beef and then add in seasonings.
Cook till become crumbly.
Take tomato paste, hot water and add them.
Allow to simmer for FIVE min or put aside.
Take the beaten eggs and mix them with cottage cheese.
Put a fine layer of meat sauce in baking dish.
Then layer 1⁄2 of noodles, then layer all of cottage cheese mixture. After this, layer 1⁄2 of mozzarella, then 1⁄2 of meat sauce, remaining noodles, then remaining sauce, and then remaining mozzarella. Use the parmesan cheese as topping.
Bake for 1⁄2 hour at THREE HUNDRED FIFTY (35o) degrees Fahrenheit.
Allow to cool for a couple of min prior to serving this recipe.
