A combined effort of outstanding Art Nouveau craftmanship, the villa was commissioned by furniture-maker Louis Majorelle; Lucien Weissenburger and Henri Sauvage designed the house, and Jacques Gruber the beautiful stained glass. Majorelle himself produced the furniture and the grand staircase, and there are delightful details throughout.
