Used as a backdrop for several films, including Blade Runner, Frank Lloyd Wright’s pre-cast concrete house sits in the Santa Monica mountains overlooking Los Angeles. Built in 1924, its design is heavily influenced by ancient Mayan temples, with great halls, monumental columns, and recurring geometrical decoration. It has recently been restored after earthquake damage.
