
Ingredients
5 tablespoons margarine
1⁄2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1⁄2 cups flour
2 1⁄4 teaspoons baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
1⁄2 cup milk
6 tablespoons margarine, melted
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions
1. Cream margarine, sugar and mix well.
2. Add egg and mix.
3. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.
4. Fill greased muffin tins half full and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350ºF.
5. TOPPING: Remove doughnuts from pan immediately.
6. Dip or toss in melted margarine, then into cinnamonsugar mixture.
